Regulatory reporting and the availability of accurate MI continues to be critical in firms managing their risk and ensuring balance sheet optimisation.

Likewise, it continues to be high on the PRA’s agenda with continued focus over the completeness and accuracy of reporting and suitability / sustainability of associated governance and control arrangements.

With the introduction of new regulation in the industry, including the Small Domestic Deposit Taker (“SDDT”) regime and Basel 3.1, regulatory reporting remains a key area of focus for firms and one which introduces various challenges as firms prepare for implementation .

This session will provide a deep dive over these current topics including:

  • The key challenges and focus areas for building societies within their regulatory reporting processes;
  • Areas of regulatory focus, including insights from recent s166 reviews;
  • Opportunities for automation, transformation and AI within the regulatory reporting processes;
  • Current and emerging industry challenges as firms prepare for the implementation of Basel 3.1, SDDT and respond to the July Leeds Reform policy and consultation statements.
