Deep Tissue Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, inhibit motor-neuron excitability and promote relaxation and well-being. This particular type of manipulation feels in some cases very aggressive. Some clients experience discomfort, pain, during or after the session and in some cases there might be bruising on the worked areas. It is suggested to treat one area at the time, for two reason, the first because of all the discomfort it may cause and second the length of time is enormous, if done to the whole body it might take up to three hours.
Sports massage focuses on muscles relevant to the event. For athletes who train continuously, the goal is to enhance endurance, lessen the chance of injury and shorten the time needed to recover from an event. Prior to an athletic event, Sports Massage may be used with stretching in order to help athletes to loosen, warm and prepare their muscles so that their performance and endurance might be enhanced. After an athletic event, Sports Massage may be used to relieve pain, prevent stiffness, and return the muscles back to their normal state.

Chair/Corporate Massage
Chair massage is a massage of the back, shoulders, neck, and arms in which the massage recipient sits comfortably and fully clothed in a specially designed massage chair. The therapist kneads, lifts, and stretches the muscles and soft tissues using a variety of Swedish, Shiatsu and trigger-point therapy techniques. No oils are used and no clothing is removed.
